DeltaNu, the leader and innovator in Raman spectrometers, will be moving to a new building in the fall of 2008. Keith Carron, General Manager of DeltaNu, a business unit of Intevac's Imaging Division, participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new 12,000 square foot building on Thursday, March 27th, 2008. The state-of-the-art facility will feature a 7,000 square foot manufacturing and production area with loading docks, several laboratories for product demonstrations and applications research, an area for research facilities and product development, and office space. The new building is located within the Professional Airpark and Research Center adjacent to the Laramie Regional Airport and is scheduled for completion in October of 2008. According to Keith Carron, "Over the past year, DeltaNu's new and existing product bookings have dramatically increased, making it imperative that we relocate to a new and larger facility. The Laramie Professional Airpark and Research Center provides us with the expansion capabilities that our company needs to continue to grow and be the leader in the development in Raman spectroscopic instruments. In addition, the location provides convenient air service for our sales team and their customers. We look forward to the new and exciting milestone in the history of DeltaNu."
