NuSpec software allows users to acquire, save, archive and interpret spectral data. Data may be continuously acquired and automatically saved as ASCII xy or spc format. Spectra can be saved with an automated baseline correction algorithm or in raw form. All spectra are referenced with the laser off to subtract ambient light. The spectral viewer allows users to interpret the most recently acquired spectrum. Spectra may be zoomed or expanded and peak heights and frequencies are reported on the screen.

The software for each instrument may vary slightly. For example, the 633 NuSpec software version has an option that automatically subtracts polarizations to provide information about molecular symmetry.

Qualitative Analysis: Library management comes standard with all DeltaNu spectrometers. The library management software allows the users to mange a spectral library. Spectral data can be saved, searched, matched and deleted from the library.

Quantitative Analysis: The library management software package also comes with a quantitative version. Calibration files developed in Grams PLSIQ (third party software) can be transferred to the software for prediction of multiple constituents after spectral acquisition.

Third Party Software: Spectral data archived from NuSpec software can be further interpreted and manipulated with either Grams AI or ACD software.
